Vivari Hotel & Spa

Krugersdorp

The Vivari Hotel & Spa is situated in the Featherbrooke area within Krugersdorp City. An existing Guest House was revamped into a luxurious Hotel and Spa.

FACTS AND FIGURES

The Hotel has a forty-eight (48) room capacity. Each room requires 120 litres of hot water heated at 55 degrees.

The hotel features three buildings for accommodation, a restaurant and spa for were hot water generation, storage and distribution are required.

CUSTOMER NEED

SOLASMART's scope was to supply, deliver, rigging, installation, and connection of Solar Thermal and Heat Pump generation solutions for the various hot water plants, as well as the pipe reticulation of incoming water lines, the tanks, the inline heaters, tempering valve and hot water return lines within the hot water plants and areas that require hot water generation.

Hotels are subject to high hot water demand during peak hours. It was therefore important that a sufficient volume of hot water was generated and available to the hotel guests while still being cost-effective and environmentally sensitive.
